founded in 1985 in Schwabach, Germany, is a company devoted 100 % to

Ashok Chadda ( son of Madan
M. Chadda ) and his team of
professionals,
with innovative design and imagination for new modular product
solutions, have now added IGBT’s and MOSFET’s dice combined with corresponding
rectifiers. These modules, in applications powering motors, UPS
power supplies, etc. are now becoming dominant in automotive
applications. The further integration of separate or embedded drive
circuity now creates ‘application specific power circuit’ modules to provide the bridge to the
future. These hybridmodules for inverters up to 5KW inter- facing to
the induction motor drive are packaged in the exclusive Powersem ECO-PAC
, a unique, small but - thermal efficient - module.
These integrated modules offer high quality and simple solutions
for the customers applications and minimum external connections.

Powersem, continuing
its growth pattern, has recently completed the construction of its new
plant, with high tech automated equipment already in service. The opening
ceremony in September 2000, was attended by officials of the Bavarian
Government, the chamber of commerce and dedicated by Dr. Günther
Beckstein, minister of internal affairs (left picture).
As continued growth can be expected for Powersem, the option to expand this
facility and add additional employees is assured.
